Quite unbelievable in light of the catastrophe unfolding in the gulf of Mexico that the Republicans have blocked a bill to increase oil spill liability from 75 million to 10 billion.
So rather than get a multi trillion dollar business like BP to pay for the damages it has caused, the US tax payer is left to foot the bill. Just another case of shameful, cowardly politicians sucking up to big business and not actually serving the best interests of the people that voted them into office.
